    On the plot with cluster resolution etc you say that TPM1 is high due to
    a) unshielded and b) single wire.
    I will tend to claim it is the former mainly - and possibly some increased
    sensitivity to background with the
    single wire.
    In the testbeam back in '96 the intrinsic resolution for 2GeV/c pions was
    <=300 um in x and about 460 um in y. as a reference. (all normal incidence).
    In tpm1 it now depends on the angle cuts too (alpha dep, lambda dep)
    on resoultion.
