The /brahms/dataXXX disks are currently unavailable on the piis,
because after destroying and rebuilding our rmine machine the RCF staff
forgot to export the disks to the piis. They also forgot to install the
users shells, so I cannot even login to the rmine001.rcf.bnl.gov.

The McCorkle Rule #1 ("never upgrade") and it's consequence
"never upgrade before the long weekend" or "before you go on vacation"
holds as strong and true as ever.
