------------------------------------------------------------ Date: Tue Jul 25 00:05:02 2000, Shift: 16:00-24:00 Supervisor: kh, with: yb Log book#3 pages 68 - 68 Shift Summary: ------------------------------------------------------------ No beam during entire shift. Investigations of problems that have appeared since opening. 1. ZDC nominal voltages different from measured voltages. M. M. says that is a problem in reading. The VME card reading voltages apparently gives a consistent high reading. This was checked manually long ago and real voltages were found to be very near nominal voltage. 2. Read ZDC ntuples right before shutdown (1609) and first real run after shutdown (1908) Looking at ZDC ADC with BBMult's < 1 gives single neutron peak for earlier run but not later run. Spectra also look completely different. TPC voltages off during entire run. SuperMon problems: SuperMon did not run first time I started it. One in my (kh) directory did!. First I rebuilt SuperMon alone. Same result. Then I rebuilt the online monitors in the online directory. Same result. So I rebuilt brat in operator account using make clean then make and then it ran. This presumably ran before. This seems to be a frequent occurence. What is always causing this to quit running??? ------------------------------------------------------------
