About 21.00 it came back and was ramped to gamma 30. 29 Gev. Main control started steering At about 11 I (fv) went to maincontrol to discuss steering and luminosity signals. First increase was seen then, and very soon confirmed by zdc timing timing, adc signals etc. Thus the first collisions in BRAHMS has been observed. has been observed. In the about 45 minutes we collected 42 good collision events. Beam as lost but, is back up - It is expected to continue collecting data during the night.
