Hi all I have had discussions with Steve in the last day or so. It was realized that there are small variations in the eta-range populated depending on setting. I belive now that the following scale-downs should be applied 14071 - 1723A - 128.31 14118 - 861A - 81.64 14199 - 430A 63.85 14200 - 1219 98.68 14889 3450 312.12 15145 2442 186.62 The dn/dy is then simply 1- y/5.4 ie. the new normalization make the sigma at 0 1.0 and at 3.0 0.44 I will redo the factor for MRS soon. If you compare the old and new scaledown you see a ratio difference from the smallest to lowest field of ~5%. This can possibly account for the difference we have seen at this level. fv -------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Bldg 510-D Brookhaven National Laboratory Upton, NY11973 phone: 631-344-4106 cell: 631-681-1596 fax: 631-344-1334 e-mail: videbaek @ bnl.gov _______________________________________________ Brahms-dev-l mailing list Brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-lReceived on Tue Jun 27 16:59:27 2006
