Hi,

I've also suddenly had to do that the last weeks. The algorithm in
acinclude.m4 tries to figure out if you have bdst installed somewhere
from you LD_LIBRARY_PATH. A bit stupid, but the only simple way I could
come up with, since bdst does not have this config scripts that brat and
root. 

Well, I looked at my LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and for some reason I had a pro
version path before the new, probably set in the 
/brahms/u/brahmlib/etc/brahms.login

I did a rearrangement in my .login file... and it worked again...
