Hi Pawel, Thanks for the update which I will study. I am curious how some of the effeciency curves vs sigma looks for the run5 pp. One reason is that local tracking in T1 and T2 is somewhat different for tracks near the edges using the corrections to positions that can be up to several mm's for both T1 and T2. for tracks in the TPC's there is little difference. As reported earlier this has a marked improvement for the class of events in momentum determination when FFS only is used. It would be curious to see if it have an effect on some of the effeciencies etc. Flemming PS the next analysis meeting is on Thursday not Monday which is Labourday ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pawel Staszel" <ufstasze@if.uj.edu.pl> To: "devlist" <brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov> Sent: Friday, September 02, 2005 12:43 PM Subject: [Brahms-dev-l] updates in fs efficiency > Hi, > During the last phone conference I mentioned > 10% deviation between efficiency corrected fsT2 and fsReg tracks > (see > http://zefir.if.uj.edu.pl/staszel/brahms/fseffic/yieldscorr/index.html, > also for explanation of fsT2 and fsReg). > > It seems to me that I found the missing ~10% of fsT2 tracks and now > the consistency between fsT2 and fsT3 yields is on the level of 2.5%, > which is within the statistical > uncertainties of derived T2 and T3 efficiencies.
