Hello all, I ve committed changes to BrFsTrackingModule, BrT2T3OffsetModule, BrDcEnhancementModule. Because changes to DcEnhancement are quite important I put new tag on brat which is 2.25.20. I've tested consistency for the new version of DCEnhancement between number of fs tracks without dc enhancement and with dc enhancement. I also was looking for efficiency corrected yields. This are results (full run #10384): No DcEnhancement: fs tracks with T2WasUsed=kTRUE: 946, corrected for efficiency: 3077 (I) fs tracks with T2WasUsed=kFALSE: 1118, corrected for efficiency: 3509 (II) all fs tracks: 2064 , corrected for efficiency: 3297 (I+II) this gives 13% inconsistency between (I) and (II) and +/-6% for (I+II), The correction factors are 3.3, 3.0 and 1.56 for (I), (II) and (I+II), respectively. With DcEnhancement: fs tracks with T2WasUsed=kTRUE: 400 fs tracks with T2WasUsed=kFALSE:1706 all fs tracks: 2106 , corrected for efficiency: 3290 The consistency between final yield is much better than 1%. The small increase of tracks for case with DCEnhancement is due to T5 enhancement only (by ~2-3%). Enhancement of T3 only replaces tracks with T2WasUsed by regular (T1-T2-T3-T4_T5) fs tracks. Because using too narrow cuts when matching ffs-bfs (T2with T3) we loose ~15% of statistic. I'm prepering note on my www discribing the problem (efficiency vs sigma range vs background) + the general note on efficiency correction in FS. Will let you know if it is ready.
