Hello. Since many people ask, here is the instruction of how to make a root tree file (with ncol/npart and nch) for your need. 1. cp dndy.f, rdzevt.F, Makefile and userpar.par from ~hito/dndy directory in rcas. (you can get rdzevt.F from BREG if you wish) 2. make rzdevt.o and make dndy 3. make symbolic link, "tape1", to actual hijing data eg ln -s /brahms/data01/simu/event_data/hijing_new/AuAu_63_0_18.zdat tape1 4. run dndy (you can set number of events in userpar.par) 5. This will make dndy.hbk and ntuple.dat (both of them are hbook file) 6. Use h2root to convert ntuple.dat to ROOT tree file. eg. h2root ntuple.dat AuAu63GeV.root 7. in this root tree file, you will find, b, nch (for -2<eta<2 range), nchall, ncol, npart, nppart (projectile participant), ntpart (target participant). Ok. So, nobody will going to ask for any more of those files. Now, do any of you need an instruction to use brhijing? By the way, I did made tree file for AuAu63GeV(not 62.4GeV since I did not have 62.4GeV Hijing around). AuAu63GeVNtuple.root is sitting in ~hito/dndy/ directory (rcas). Hiro Claus O. E.
