ok, I know what's goin on :

by default, AuAuDST.C sets the file version number to 1000000. If I now
use the command line option and set this number to 0, then it finds the
files. I guess the ruby script is sort of smart and gets the latest
version.

One thing though : the short bratmain option for the file version number
is -V but this option is already used by default by the option manager
for showing the bratmain version. In one case it's an integer version, in
the other a boolean. If you want to avoid this conflict, use long options
only. I modified AuAuDST.C and dst.rb, they use now long options
--fversion and --iproverno in the bratmain command line.

In corrolar, something is not completely clear : let's say I work in
~bramreco/run04/auau/63/dst. I made some modifications in AuAuDST.C, which
I can commit to CVS. But for the .rb scripts it's different. There is an
updateScript.sh file. It only _copies_ some .rb files that are located in
some local repository (~bramreco/run04/scripts or something like that). So
I would have to cd to this repository, modifiy the .rb source files first,
make a cvs commit from there, and then go back to the job execution place.
Is it supposed to be the procedure ? I missed something here.
