Flemming has discovered a couple of other problems though: * the "vertex offset vs. angle" problem is related to the TPC calibrations, so this is not something we can fix before QM. It needs fixing in the end, though (probably requires a rerun of all TPC calibs...) I guess he will say more about this soon * the matching offsets were missing for the early part of pp, due to a wrong linking of files on bramreco. This has probably not had a very adverse effect, but it will also be fixed now. > > Bjrn, yesterday I tried to generate ltr files, it sounds no problem to > generate them, see /brahms/data09//data/run03/dau/200/ (sorry, I used > data09 temporarily). Is there any problem for those runs from ltr to > dst? No, not if you used the correct DC parameter run which I guess is 8849, and disabled UsePlaneRes, i.e.: Int_t CalibRunNo = 8849; t3->UsePlaneRes(kFALSE); as per Pawels last email yesterday. If not, they should be rerun with these parameters. I've started matching jobs to do offset calibs for these files now - if we need to redo the files please let me know soon. > > Pawel, do we need to redo local tracking for dAu? I hope not. I guess we do, right? All runs should have the above parameters set... So - plan: I'll start a lot of local tracking now, and hopefully I can do that and matching by the end of the day. I'll prioritize pp for now. Then, if my ISP people get their act togeher, I can do global tracking tonight or tomorrow at the latest. After that DST generation is just a formality, so I hope I can make new files for you by the end of friday. After that, I am probably out of touch until after christmas... (I may get access at my in-laws house, but I can't promise anything.) So, I'll get to it... I'll be hogging the farm for a while... -- Bjorn H.
