Hmm... Konstantin listens and remembers. I think MySQL on pii3 was installed
from RPMs. Packages I build from sources I usually install in
non-system location, i.e. the DAQ home directory. Perhaps
the RPM database on pii3 is broken? What are the dates on the mysqld
executables? Are the mysql rpms installed?
