    Shame.   You forgot to include a subject line....
    
    One setup caution:  Fink gives a number of options on the download.
    When I did the change to Jaguar, I didn't get the correct tools loaded 
    first which caused some grief...
    
    What is working for me:
    aclocal and automake 1.6.3
    autoconf 2.54
    libtool 1.4
    
    
    The only problem you should see with brat is that you need to explicitly 
    copy
    the file
    /sw/share/libtool/ltmain.sh
    to the ~/brat/config
    directory.
    
    For some reason, at least on my system, automake does not want to do 
    this.
    
    I still haven't manages to get brag to link.  It compiles fine, but then 
    croaks
    because of multiple definitions of global symbols error.
