It seems to me, from what I remember, that most of the code in BRAG is about setting up the geometry, and very little is done in terms of tracking and ladida. Now, that said, the TGeom... classes are only for the geometry. TVirtualMC takes care of the tracking, and ladida, in the regular GEANT3.21 way (it's from AliROOT - the Alice GEANT3.21 and Geant4 simulation). However, I realise it's not something you do over night. I thought I'd mention it, as so many have asked `why can't we use ROOT for the detector simulation', the answer is ROOT wasn't really ready for it. Now it's a lot closer.
