If `dvi2pdf' fails, try `pdflatex' directly (that has issues of it's
opwn, but try it anyway), `ps2pdf' from `GNU GhostScript', or
`pstopdf' from `psutils' (or something).  The PDF format is really
nothing but Postscript plus some additional hacks and bugs.
