1st. reduction step: -------------------- Soon I've reduced all run from 5361 to 5983. The reduced data can be found in /brahms/data01/reduced/R5{3,4,5,6}X/seq/ /brahms/data02/reduced/R5{7,8,9}X/seq/ The (relatively few) jobs that crashed or got new Vdrift calibrations will be re-submitted today. 2nd reduction step: ------------------- The next step is to find the matching offsets. The db geometry is now updated (thanks Kris) and I think we found out that magnet problem Djamel found is not really a problem since the magnetic fields is set again later. I've put the script I use for the matching in /brahms/data12/match/. - masterMatch.sh is a simple script that submits bratmain jobs (PrelReco.C) to CAS. (try option -h). The matching histograms are saved in /brahms/data12/match/data/ per default. Using matchOffsets.C and bfsOffsets.C in a root session will produce the ascii files containing the offsets (ex offset5300_6000.FFS). I will try to produce standard offsets files (for MRS, FFS, T2_T4, T3_T4 and T4_T5) for all the reduced runs today. These files are read by BrMatchingOffsetModule (that should be loaded from brahms_app/do_app/track/libTrackUtil.so). In parallel we should produce the gtr files (containing global tracks, pid objects and global info). I suggest we put these in /brahms/data12/data/gtr/RXXX/seq/. I'll let you know when I've cleaned up the scripts to do this, they will be put in /brahms/data12/reco/. 3rd redcution step: ------------------- Making dsts should be relatively simple (and fast). I'll update the scripts I use for this and put them in /brahms/data12/reco/dst/. ~ Cheers, Claus +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Claus Jørgensen | | Cand. Scient.
