    No I do not have an answer to your question - I do though find it peculiar
    that at this moment (20:15 EST) the mysql  srever on rcas has about 53
    active threads while the crs is running about 12 jobs, and as far I know the
    connections are supposely closed after the
    Begin run access has been made. I do not have the mysql-book at home to be
    able to check it better. Let us watch this tomorrow.
