    Ok i'll be more specific:

The DigMatchParam.txt file is now in place, with the correct read access.

For a short description on how the program runs see my presentation from
    the collaboration meeting:

    http://www.nbi.dk/hehi/research/brahms/collab2002

beat takes the parameters listed in comments in the beginning of the
    beat.cc file.
When the program runs with -S option enabled it gives an on the fly
estimate of the calculations. If you run for the mrs it might look like
    this:

    Event #279/50000: | TPM1 Eff: 98.93% | TPM2 Eff: 99.29% | MRS Eff: 94.29%

This line is updated every event wich is approx a couple every second.

If you run beat in gdb you will see that it just hangs trying to do
something when reading the first or second raw event. If some small
changes are done in the program that does not effect what the program
should do (i.e. inserting comments, commenting out code that you know
you will not use because you do not use that option, etc...) it might
crash or hang elsewhere, for instance crash when it tries to delete an
analysed raw event, hang when it calls 'new BrEvent(...)' hang when it
tries to delete an event that has been written to file, crash when it
tries to call the event method on some module related to tracking,
    vertex, etc...

The crash or hang might happen before the first event is analysed or at
    some later event 'n'.

If even more specific information is needed, e-mail me and I'll tell you
    what I know...

    Regards,
            Truls
