Hi All,
Please, find a forwarded message I got from Ramiro.
Ramiro submitted the message to the list but it returned back.

attached mail follows:
Hi,
Good to see things improving in the momentum discrepancies. The fits you
made to the points I sent have the same problem that convinced me to go
back and measure the excitation curves of all magnets; they have
intercepts that are not what happens in reality, specially D4 would have
128 gauss of permanent field. I sent the values corresponding to the
fields we used during the run so that you can continue with the analysis
of the 2001 data. According to Flemming, Kris H. is working on a
database interface that will have the new information.
The main benefit from that interface will come from the fact that with
the permanent Hall probe readout (that is now correlated with the field
value in the middle of the gap) we will have a reading of the actual
field every 1.5 minutes. This is the information we want to include
permanently in the software.
I submitted this message to the dev list before lunch, but it was
bounced back. I should have submitted
from sgs1. Anyway I will talk to Kris H. about the database work.
Ramiro
