Hi All, As we have recent measurements of D3 and D4 excitation curves I fit a 2 order polynomial to the numbers send by Ramiro. I assumed that the errors are 0.2% (than the Chi2 is reasonable) but the fit is not sensitive to the error bars assumed. I put the new parameters to BrMagneticVolume and check how now D3 and D4 momenta are correlated. Plots showing fits and D3-D4 correlation can be found here: http://www.nbi.dk/~staszel/fs/mfield As you can see data for different magnetic field settings are consistent within +-0.5% having a common offset of ~1.5%. This offset might be due to improper effective length used for D3 or/and D4. The important message is that we can remove the offset keeping the consistency of +-0.5% between different field settings by, e.g., enlarging D4 effective length by 1.5%. How accurate we know the effective for D3 and D4 ? I've committed BrMagneticVolume.cxx with a new B(I) for D3 and D4.
