Ian, It is determined in BrDetectorParamsTof and uses Flemming's algorithm on how the slats were positioned. If you're in doubt, look at the method GetSlatPos(Int_t slat). I also see this shift and saw it even before I used Flemmin'g stuff. But I haven't tuned the geometry. Djam
