    \Just before leaving I noted that my prtevious compile of Brat would not
    work due to network probelms.
    Neither did I have access on RCF (via afs). I thus concluded afs was down it
    it really was time to leave.
    It is though unfortunate how this progagrates for long time.
    I will check again and complain if need be to RCF.
