Hi Steve et al, There was a few points I'd like to clearify in this, but forgot earlier - sorry. On Tue, 24 Jul 2001 12:05:47 -0500 "Stephen J. You can always do a ./configure --help to see what flags are accepted. > {Incidentally, the configure and make steps are quite nice...} Glad you like it. > There is an extra character (a "d") in the hijing.dat file that one > gets from the cvs, but this is pretty obvious. Is this extra 'd' per chance inside some '$..$' pair? I surely hope not. If not, could you remove that 'd' and commit the file in question? No, you should run a diff on the upstream and the FV versions of these files, to see how our hijing differs from Wangs. > I have noticed that breg copiles with -O2, whereas the version that > is working just has -O. Something like a EG you'd really like to compile with as much optimisation as possible. BTW, I've figured out a way to do some automatic linking against ROOT libraries when linking against BRAT libraries (at least in the source tree), which I'll shortly implement. This will have some effect on how the Makefile.am looks, in particular, it may seem they got a bit more complicated. In fact, there are really not, and I think it'll work to our advantage. More on this as I progress. Yours, Christian ----------------------------------------------------------- Holm Christensen Phone: (+45) 35 35 96 91 Sankt Hansgade 23, 1. th.
