    Honestly Bjorn, you should know this by know. When the newest version of a
    package like libtools doesn't work, just install the previous version and
    everything will be fine! Get a grip.
    
    To anyone else who should come across this problem (maybe this is well
    known?): libtools-1.4 is buggy and needs a patch. Use libtools-1.3.4
    instead - works like a charm :-)
