Christian, Updating the cvs version 1-11-2 has solved the problem, Thanks!

Bjorn,  Sorry about the lock.  I suspect it was generated when I was 
having my other
cvs problems since, obviously, I am NOT working with Yuri's code!  The
sad part is I knew this lock was there because I was also being 
frustrated in
trying to update my local brahms_app directory:  However the cvs error
only told me the uid2485 set up the lock, and I didn't realize this was 
me. I was
blaiming Yuri!   In any case, I have removed the lock.  Thanks.
