I rechecked out the complete distribution to make sure I didn't screw something up. The build completed without indicating any problems. > > How are you doing on ROOT 3.00/06? > OK, I'm already behind...I'm running 3.00/01. However, so far I have not encountered any problems. Using my old version of brat (with the older mult classes) I was able to link and run all of my programs without any problems. > > Fancy stuff uh. Latest kernel, odd GCC, on a RISC processor. That'd be interresting, especially > if it't the new version (read: Unix-clone) of MacOS. > I dual boot with linuxPPC and Mac OS9.1. Works great! I can also run native Mac OS9.1 under linux if I'm willing to give up on accelerated graphics (generally, I'm not....but it is a nice feature). I jumped to 2.4.2 in order to get firewire, usb, and airport (wireless networking) working without having to do a lot of backporting. I am waiting for things to settle with OSX before giving it a try. At the moment there is only a pre-release version available with the official release scheduled for next week. ...steve
