Yes - correct. However, point c) above would be a waste of time. Flemming informs me, that recreating various "reduced data" files should take no more then a week, so that would be the best choice. However, I just have word from Rene Brun that there indeed was a bug in ROOT 3.00/02 causing the StreamerInfo to be created even for classes with version number 0 (e.g. TStopwatch). Brun has fixed this in the CVS, and I'm looking into what this fix does to our code. I'll keep you posted.
