Hi Bjorn et al, As far as I understand, the current primary vertex code chooses a primary vertex from one of the 4 vertex algorithms, based on some "goodness" criteria. Without having thought it through, I propose doing a weighted mean or fit (least squares) of the 4 primary vertices from the 4 algorithms, to obtain a `good' primary vertex. I believe this is more robust and less error prone than just using one of the 4 vertices. Also using more information should probably improve the primary vertex determination.
