You can find a (not great, but working) example of such a program in ~bearden/Scripts/TOFanalyze.C and ~bearden/Scripts/PEDCalc.C Each of these will read through several sequences in a straightforward way that is obvious from the code. Alv Kjetil has also written a piece of code which will read an arbitrary number of events and open new sequences as needed. His is much nicer than mine, but I don't recall where his can be found.
