Hi fellow composers I added a new class BrGeantToDetectorTracks in CVS. The class was developed by the Oslo group and I have only added a few lines to integrate it with the new geantdig program, i.e., not using BrGeantInput. If constructed with the name of a TPC it will on a call to the event method loop over geant track and geant hits to see how many hits a track have in a TPC. If the number of hits is greater equal to number of rows - fAllowedToMiss (default 2 or SetAllowedToMiss) the hits are added to a BrDetectorTrack fit and passed to the outputnode as DetectorTrack "name of TPC". Combined with the new method in BrDetectorTrack - RelativeOverlap, it is possible to see if we find the "REAL" geant tracks. Or you can use it in a macro like I am doing it at the moment. See : http://alf.nbi.dk/~pchristi/BRAHMS/TPCDisplayTPM1.C This macro needs a digitised geant root file and then draws the selected event in TPM1. Geant tracks, found tracks, geant hits, sequences and clusters can be turned on/off. Use the 3d viewer X3D to get a better grahical rendering (M gives menu in this mode). This is a tool I have found is quite useful to show what goes right and what goes not so right;) As the class is, it is NOT usable with DCs. It was in earlier version and could be added again.
