I have read most of your data base mail, but probably not as carefully as
I should. Still, there are a couple of things that I would like to
comment on.
1. As far as I know, the only machines running Redhat 6.0 are the PII
machines. We are not, and I don't think RCF is either (correct me if I am
wrong). Many people (especially our sysadm!) wait until version .1 since
.0 are usually not the most stable.

2. We (actually Christian) is putting a large effort into learning/using
Objectivity as we were under the impression that it had been chosen as the
standard BRAHMS DB. If this is not the case, and there is a chance that
we will use something else, we would like to know ASAP.
