Part list for Phobos Spectrometer Assembly

 

Description

The module readout is done with the VA-HDR1 (128 channel) chip on all Type 1 modules, for all other modules the 64-channel VA-HDR4 ("AMS") chip is used. 6 or 8 chips are daisy-chained for the readout. Every hybrid has two analog readout lines. A readout frequency of 5MHz is assumed in the estimate of the readout time.

 

The following abbreviations are used:

FLEX … flex cable

GPDH … glass piece for sensor gluing used with top sensor on Module 1

GPDL … glass piece for sensor gluing used with bottom sensor on Module 1

GPH … glass piece for sensor gluing used with top sensor (all other modules)

GPL … glass piece for sensor gluing used with bottom sensor (all other modules)

HDR1 … 128 channel VA-HDR1 chip

HDR4 … 64 channel VA-HDR4 ("AMS") chip

MSDL … left-handed hybrid for Module 1

MSDR … right-handed hybrid for Module 1

MS3L … left-handed hybrid for 3-sensor modules

MS3R … right-handed hybrid for 3-sensor modules

MS4L … left-handed hybrid for 4-sensor modules

MS4R … right-handed hybrid for 4-sensor modules
