July 3: First evidence of beam
seen at 10 o'clock! The following shows signals seen in Octagon, Vertex and
Paddle counters, for a typical 'beam' event. Trigger used was :
( (PP + PN) · RHIC_BUNCH ). The RHIC bunch signal sets off a 60 µs gate and we trigger
on a threshold of our Sum-of-Paddle counter signal within this gate.

May 24: Distribution of vertices from a Ru-106 source. The source was mounted underneath the vertex detector at roughly -7cm. The data went through the full analysis chain, including Common Mode Noise calculation and the vertex was reconstructed with the vertex reconstruction package inside PhAT. Click to see more detail
May 20: First Results from Engineering Run: Online Plots of Source Test Produced in Real-Time (Source Data from Octagon+Vertex Modules » FEC » DMU » Mercury » Event-Builder » Online) Click to see more detail
