The program:

1) 1 normal pedestal and calibration run every two hours at
4,6,8,10,12pm,2,4am.
2) at all times in between the ped/cal runs: a continues slow run
3.) at 4am Pradeep will start a long slow run until 10am. (If any slow run
stops Person on shift has to restart it

Pradeep will write a brief summary on how to start/stop a run until he
leaves today.

1) will allow us to check if there are any strong drifts and if there are
any drifts, we can check with the slow runs (2) what happened at what time

We will run at least until 10am and at 10am decide how if we continue. The
default is to continue unless the need ring or other intervention

The checklist:

Every 30min:

• FEC Low Voltage currents on slow control display
      Voltages should be within 0.05 V
      Currents should be within +/-2A on -6V,-3V and within +/-1A on +6V,+3V
      Three fans on each set(two internal, one external ~3000)  [example of Bad fan speed= -1,0,5]
• FEC High Voltage (Bias) curents/voltages
  Check voltages on
  Check currents <20 mAmp
• Check Temperature, Vbc, Ibc on all FEC's using 'printtemp.C macro'. Take printout and append to checklist.
           Ignore FEC 17,18,20,21 temp readings
  Look for trends in leakage currents

Every 60 minutes

Check in tunnel the cooling system:

• Check water flow in cooling tubes from octagon and pos+neg arm
• Check 4 flow meters on top right and left side of the magnet
• Check no water on floor.
• Check dry air system
  

On old slow controls computer:

• Check humidity and temp in enclosure.

Switching off:

1.) ramp down VBC on slow control
2.) switch off FEC LV on slow control
3.) notify

When to switch off:

a.) if cooling flow stops in any of the flow meters or tubes
b.) if any of the FEC LV current -6 or -3 on the slow control increases
by more than 2 A or +3 or +6 currents increase by more than 1 A.
c) if spectrometer temperature>60C or octagon temperature>100
