1.1 In the Portal, under "Detector Status", click on "Nominal Detector State". Compare with the ON status indicators on the FEC Power Supplies Monitor area of the Si Monitor, which are the "Actual State".
1.2 See the section of the Si Monitor Help on "Monitoring FEC Power Supplies when ON".
2.1 In the Portal, under "Detector Status", click on "Nominal Detector State". Compare with the ON status indicators on the Bias Power Supplies Monitor area of the Si Monitor, which are the "Actual State".
2.2 See the section of the Si Monitor Help on "Bias Supplies Control and Monitor".
3.1 In the Portal, under "Detector Status", click on "Nominal Detector State". Look at the Cooling and Dry Air System Monitor area of the Si Monitor: the indicators give the actual state of flow and temperatures, as well as warnings. If the Cooling System is off, no indicators are visible, only a "Cooling System OFF" blue text sign.
3.2 Press the blue Details button in the Cooling System area of the Si Monitor.
4.1 Follow the link given on the checklist.
5.1 Go to the "Logbook" computer in the console. There should be a LabView icon in the toolbar (at the bottom of the screen), that when pressed shows a small window in the righthand corner, with the title "Alarmers.vi". If this is not there, doubleclick the icon in the middle of the screen.
5.2 Press the "TEST" button in the "Alarmers" window, and you should hear the alarm sound once. If you don't hear it, try adjusting the volume settings on the computer and/or the speakers. To ajdust the volume settings in the computer double click the sound icon on the right corner of the taskbar. The speakers have volume dials, and are located right behind the monitor, on the left.
