1. FEC Power Supplies

1.1

Nominal state Actual State Agree?

On c    Off c On c    Off c Yes c   No c If they do not agree , write in logbook, call Si expert.If all FEC Power Supplies are off, jump to section 2.

1.2

If there are FEC Power Supplies ON:

- Are all corresponding indicators in Si Monitor green?

Yes c   No c If not, go to next step. If yes, jump to section 2.

- Do the NOT OK red indicators correspond to voltages?

Yes c   No c If yes, go to manual for appropriate action. 

- Do the NOT OK red indicators correspond to fans?

Yes c   No c If yes, go to manual for appropriate action.

- Do the NOT OK red indicators correspond to currents?

Yes c   No c Check the history graph. If the current is increasing very rapidly, call expert. Otherwise, make note in logbook.

 

2. Bias Power Supplies

2.1

Nominal state Actual State Agree?

On c    Off c On c    Off c Yes c   No c If not, write in logbook, call Si expert. If yes, jump to 3.

2.2

If there are Bias Power Supplies ON:
-Are all corresponding indicators in Si Monitor green?
Yes c   No c If not, write in logbook, call Si expert.

 

3. Cooling System

3.1

Nominal state Actual State Agree?
On c    Off c On c    Off c Yes c   No c If not, write in logbook, call Si expert or Robert. If yes, jump to 4.

3.2

If the Cooling System is ON:
-Are all corresponding indicators in Si Monitor green?
Yes c   No c If not, go to next step. If yes, jump to 4.
- Are there any red flow indicators on any of the subsystems?
Yes c   No c Write in the logbook which indicator is red.
- Are there any other red indicators?
Yes c   No c If yes, report in logbook, call Robert. If not, go to 4.

 

4. UPSs

4.1 

 

On the Portal, click on UPS, under "Detector Status"

Check that "Output Status" is Online, and "Battery Capacity" is ~100%.
