Red button indicates No Run in progress. Press STOP run a couple of times and Use the
documentation to start a new run of type determined by current beam/detector status. Nominally [RunType=PADDLECOSM, Silicon disabled] for trigger commissioning. [RunType= ALLBEAM, Silicon enabled] for normal data-taking. Refer to
documentation if you have problems. |
| If you pressed Start Run and got no response (most common mode of failure) | Yes:Refer to documentation to restart the GUI and try
starting a new run. Make sure RunSetup selections (Silicon enable/disable, Fastbus
enable/disable switches) are set properly, and be sure to wait between steps like stopping
and starting runs. Note in the Shift Logbook in as much detail as possible, the conditions under which the freeze occured, so expert can look at it. If problems persist, call Expert |
