Short-term ER data analysis (ongoing)
- Data Validation semi-mindless run-through (done)
- Examination of data validation for features (Baker)
- Vtx, Mul, Spc run on ER data. (done)
- Si Pedestal, Noise vs. time (urgent: Rachid+Nigel)
- Gain vs. time (ignoring goofy channel shift)??

- Alignment studies (Manly)
Further short-term ER data analysis
- Study beam blasts in spect. r-distribution, Nhits etc. (pick a few runs)
- CMN in multiplicity - CMN vs. empties in pedestal events. (Chicago?)
- Crosstalk: empties in blast events vs. empties in pedestal events (Chicago?)
- Printout a nice beam gas event display (Pernegger?+Manly?)
Open-ended questions (need active involvement by hardware expert)
- Study "lines" in individual events in spectrometer - what are they?
can we see evidence for them in the multiplicity detector
- Can we find evidence of cross-talk, lines or other bad features in the mult.
- Run through hundreds of event displays.
Use of ER data to test final chain (<November)
- Run final pedcalc,calcalc procedure on old data and look for anomalies
NOTE: The sooner the better.
- Run final plastic pedcalc,calcalc,t0calc on old data (Roch+UMd+N.George)
- Develop and use trigger counter diagnostics on old data
Heinz requests which are lacking manpower:
- Detailed studies of pulse heights vs. angle and other hits in tracks
- Signal distributions using a clean sample
Discarded ideas (unless enthusiastic volunteers show up):
- Study of # of hits in various detectors vs. others
(useless without final pedestals)
- Detailed studies of old pedcalc results
(Should just study results of new pedcalc)
- TOF plots (only as desired/useful for Rochester)
- Further studies of MUL, VTX recon. on ER data?
