| Confg. PROM | Configuration PROM, it must be different for different FEC's, Typically of form FNN.XX Where NN is FEC number and XX is a two digit number |
| FEC Crate Name | Specifies crate name. Spectrometer arms' names (FCSN0, FCSN1, FCSP0 and FCSP1) where N stands for negative and P for positive Arm.FCOV0 and FCOV1 for Octagon/Vertex crates and FCRN and FCRP for Ring crates (N-negative and P-positive) |
| FEC Crate Slot | Position in the crate. This is to physically locate a given FEC. It has nothing to do with FEC readout sequence |
| DMU Crate Name | DMU0 and DMU1, just to keep track of where the FEC;s are connected |
| DMU Channel | Set by jumpers on the DMU boards. This number defines the sequence of readout, very important. Usually set to FEC Number |
| FEC String | One of FEC Strings, the strings are numbered 0-7 |
| FEC Port | Each cable connects to one port, one port handles two strings. Port 0 handles 0 and 1, Port 1 2 and 3 etc |
