Hi, (I redirect this thread to this list which we decided would be for analysis, recosntruction and other discussions of this sort). David, our guest student from Germany, is doing some TOF calibration. He came to me and said that the ADC gains seemed to him too high (around channel 2000). It's not the first time he reported such a thing. I briefly looked at the calibration database and I repeat here what I reported earlier : the ADC gaps and gap start are = -1111. So if you want to use them for adc gain calibrations, you will have adc = rawadc - pedestal - adcgap if rawadc > gap start. Replace the gap stuff by -1111 and you'll see the problem. Do not commit anything to the database before checking things, i.e. histograms and ascii files. When you see odd things, either try to fix it yourself or report to an "expert".
