I will aslo argue that the files put there are files used repeatedly for intensive analysis e.g. root trees, raw/ or near raw files used frequently to optimize stuff - not code, utilities these disks are NOT backed up. Thus the directories to have are of the kind /home/data /home/scratch/ (I guess > LSF is something like that (yes) ). Thanks. I have a manule in my office - but this does not help you. I recall that RCF has a relevant link I did use it extensively for running simulation before we got the crs-farms.
