    It does - just take a look at the present data02-08 and you will see lots of
    obsolete
    files, files not touched in a long time, and they can only be deleted by
    seperate people
     them selves.
    I will aslo argue that the files put there are files used repeatedly for
    intensive analysis e.g.
    root trees, raw/ or near raw files used frequently to optimize stuff - not
    code, utilities
    these disks are NOT backed up. Thus the directories to have are of the kind
    /home/data
    /home/scratch/

    RCF will not the local mount disks via NFS -
     -- you can argue with their point of view, but is the way it is at least

    I have a manule in my office - but this does not help you. I recall that RCF
    has a relevant link
    I did use it extensively for running simulation before we got the crs-farms.
