I've build
BRAT 2.0.38
ROOT 3.02/00
CRASH 1.1.1
and installed it all in /afs/rhic/opt/brahms/pro - that is, BRAT 2 has
finally made it's way to production mode. CRASH has for some time now
been in production mode, but since it depends on BRAT 2, it could not
go in to pro sooner than that. ROOT 3.02/00 is not really the
production version of ROOT (it's infact the development version), but
we need some important bugfixes in it for BRAT to work - hence the
somewhat odd update.
A new version of BRAT 2.1 will soon (today) hit the new tree. That
means that BRAT and CRASH - in the new form - will be unavaliable for
some time. This update is requested by various people that want some
seriously new analysis codes here at NBI (I guess you know who!) since
that is the stumpling block at the moment.
A heads up: Looking into some stuff on temp DB's, I realised that some
few things need to be changed. More on this later. However, I'd
really like to change the name of the classes
BrParameterElement
BrParameterData
BrParameterElementManager
to
BrCalibration
BrCalibrationData
BrCalabrationManager
as I believe those names are far more meaning full. It may affect
some user code, and I'll therefore provide a conversion script
(basically just a simple use of sed or perl). Please advice.
