Linux turns 10 today - happy birthday

    Hi composers, 
    
    To those of you that don't know it, probably because you don't read /.
    [1] or similar, the Linux kernel turns 10 years today [2,3,4]. 
    
    Note that there seems to be some confusion with the date [2], but that 
    because some people quote the birthday relative to Helsinki time (GMT
    -2). As is clear from the original posting [4] to comp.os.minix, it
    was the 25. of August 1991, at 20:57:08 GMT (which makes it 2:52
    minutes before midnight in Helsinki - remember daylight saving). 
    
    I think this is worth a "Happy Birthday" (even from you non-believers,
    and we do have a few of those!), since the GNU/Linux OS is the main
    workhorse for all of us.
