HPSS files & transfers

    First as RCF announced HPSS is down for a reconfiguration today. Probably by late this afternoon it will be ok
    Secondly, we have been seeing (noticed first by Andrev) that data files transferred to the dataxx disks via the Caraousell
    software seems sometime to be truncated to abaout half size (~1/2Gb rather than 1G). The length is recorded properly in the HPSS directory and  it seems the transfer to CRS is ok (based on reco done by Eun-Joo). If this has to do with the software
    the transfer method or the datadisks is still unclear.
