Both Fouad and Hiro independtly found a mistake in my most recent corrections to the Brahms version of the Hijing code. It turns out I interchanged spectators/participants. The zdat files are supposed to hold the spectators i.e. the comment is correct and this is how venus and frit7.02 actually works. I have modified the hijing a few days ago, and it is now checked back into CVS. The event files on rcf /brahms/data01/simu/... though still have to be re-run Flemming ------------------------------------------------------ Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory > > > Hi Flemming, > > I am using the last Hijing file where the number of participants > should be ok. > I have played a bit with those events and figured out that there > is a confusion in the names of the variables defined in the include > file: event.inc > > c nnproj : # neutron spectators (in proj) > c npproj : # proton spectators (in proj) > c naproj : # spectators (in proj) > c nntarg : # neutron spectators (in target) > c nptarg : # proton spectators (in target) > c natarg : # spectators (in target) > > spectator should be replaced by participant in all these lines. > > Could you please confirm. > > Regards, > Fouad > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- > Fouad RAMI e-mail : fouad.rami@ires.in2p3.fr > IReS phone : 33.(0)3.88.10.62.00 > 23,rue du Loess : 33.(0)3.88.10.64.55 > B.P.28-BAT.20 (secretary's office) > 67037 STRASBOURG CEDEX 2 fax : 33.(0)3.88.10.66.14 > FRANCE > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- > > > >
