Re: de-commisioning of rlnx03 (immediat action)
In part due to the re-doing of networks, and part because of issues of sharing rlnx03 with phobos
RCF (Tom Throwe) has decided to cease operation of rlnx03 and allocate each of the two exp a seperate machine.
It will be allocated as rcas0005.rcf.bnl.gov; it is considerable slower and has less disk than the other rcas machines.
Should we later decide to use it for special purposes e.g. database server this is feasible.
So do not be mad when you cannot connect to rlnx03.
