A release of egread is available. Two environmental variables have been
added to the brahms_login ($BRAHMS_SYS/brahms_login.csh)
so all one need do is:

$EGREAD_BLD your_file
This will compile and link your_file.f and put it in a subdirectory
$BRAHMS_ARCH, which will be created if it doesn't exist.
To run the executable either
cd $BRAHMS_ARCH
your_file
or
$BRAHMS_ARCH/your_file

Note that there is NO extension on the file name. The code adds a .f, so
for the time being only fortran files are handled.
One needs an afs token to run $EGREAD_BLD, so if you get this msg:
 " /afs/rhic/brahms/BRAHMS_REL/egread//lib/egread.bld: Permission
denied."
you dont have a token, and have to do a klog.

The history file can also be accessed on the Brahms Computing Software
page.
