FACULTY POSITION: Experimental Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics Vanderbilt University The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in Experimental Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics. Applicants at the tenure-track Assistant Professor or junior Associate Professor level will be considered. The position is available beginning September 1, 2002. The candidate must demonstrate significant research accomplishments in this field. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, recognized research program. Opportunities exist in the Department for collaboration with the present efforts in the PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at BNL, and in possible future programs such as at the LHC.
