FYI

PS Phenix beat us on the mid-rapidity data ay 62 GeV.- We should have had the pp paper done before this, but there is still a number of month left on it.

> Title:
> Identified charged hadron production in p + p collisions at
> $\sqrt{s}=$ 200 and 62.4 GeV
>
> Abstract:
> Transverse momentum distributions and yields for \pią, Ką, p and pbar
> in p+p collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 200 and 62.4 GeV at mid-rapidity are
> measured by the PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion
> Collider (RHIC). These data provide important baseline spectra for
> comparisons with identified particle spectra in heavy ion collisions at
> RHIC. We present the inverse slope parameter T_inv, mean transverse
> momentum <pT> and yield per unit rapidity dN/dy at each energy, and
> compare them to other measurements at different $\sqrt{s}$ in p + p and
> p + pbar collisions. We also present scaling properties such as mT
> scaling and xT scaling of the pT spectra between different energies.
> To discuss the mechanism of particle production in p + p collisions, the
> measured spectra are compared to Next-to-Leading Order (NLO) or
> Next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) perturbative QCD calculations.
