Dear Michael, Please find below a few corrections/comments on the dp paper. Section I-A, last sentence: "Our results suggest that this is not the case since FOR the inverse slope of the deuterons is not twice that of the protons." -> remove "FOR" -> The value given in Section III does not differ very much from 2: T(d)/T(p) = 1.6 +- 0.1. Moreover, the value of T(dbar)/T(pbar) is very consistent with 2 (= 2.00 +- 0.2). This makes the argument given in this sentence quite weak! From the data, I don't see how we can exclude a quark coalescence scenario for the deuteron production. Section II-B, 1st sentence: I suggest to remove "at the BRAHMS intersection region" -> "The centrality of the collisions was extracted ..." Section II-C: - end of 1st paragraph -> "0.0008p" -> "0.0008 \times p" - 2d paragraph: A dot is missing at the end of the sentence "The overall tracking efficiency is typically 60%, and is known to a few percent" Section II-D: - In the sentence indicated in blue color (page 5): "neglible" -> "negligible" - Caption of Figure 2: 1st sentence; "p_Tand" -> "p_T and" Section III, 1st paragraph: "The inverse slopes tend to decrease with rapidity, suggesting a decrease of radial flow" The second part of this sentence (decrease of radial flow) is inconsistent with the discussion in Section IV, which is based on the fact that the radial flow does not depend on the rapidity! A rapidity dependence of the inverse slope does not necessarily imply that the radial flow is also rapidity dependent. My suggestion -> remove the second part of this sentence. Section IV: - 1st sentence: "Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV" -> "Au+Au collisions at \sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV" - page 7, last line: "transverse flow" should be "radial flow" Best regards, Fouad ----- Message de debbe_at_rcf.rhic.bnl.gov --------- Date : Mon, 25 Oct 2010 12:00:56 -0400 De : Ramiro Debbe <debbe_at_rcf.rhic.bnl.gov> Objet : [Brahms-l] dp paper À : brahms-l_at_lists.bnl.gov > Dear Collaborator, > Please find here the last iteration of the dp paper.
